About Us
Britain's Premier Royalist Movement
History
The British Royalist Society was established in 2016 as an educated and popular response to the rising tide of republicanism in the United Kingdom, which to that point had gone largely unquestioned and unbalanced.
Originating as a Facebook group and then evolving into a national movement, the Society today is a members-based organisation committed to opposing organised republicanism and defending the institution of the monarchy from radical elements seeking to do it harm.
Mission Statement
The British Royalist Society's mission is to preserve the institution of the Monarchy through advocacy, education, and research.
Objectives
- To disseminate literature and stimulate national pride in the British Monarchy.
- To oppose organised republicanism and interest groups that work to imperil the Throne and the constitution of the United Kingdom.
- To defend in the United Kingdom all jurisdictions and authorities belonging to His Majesty, his heirs and successors.
Structure
The Society is governed by a constitution — its foundational body of principles and established precedents. The constitution governs the political line of the movement and regulates the membership.
